Forest Landscape Restoration – Pathways to Achieving the SDGs

The inherent dynamic interconnections between the Earth’s land systems, climate and human societies mean that efforts to address land degradation and restore landscapes have multiplicative positive benefits. The social returns of taking action on restoration at a global level are estimated at US$ 5 for every $ 1 invested in restoring degraded land.
