I am a first degree holder with background in Agriculture. I started working with IUCN in April, 2013 as an Intern for six months and in October, 2013 I had a contract as a project assistant. I am assiting in the implementation of the following IUCN projects currently implemented in Ghana
a) Promoting Investment in Landscape Restoration supported by Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD), b)Pro-Poor REDD Project supported by Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA), c) REDD+ Benefit Sharing project supported by German Government (BMU) and d) Ecosystem Alliance supported by Dutch Aid Agency, (DGIS), have built my capacity in
My specific role is to assist in the cordination of the Private Investment in Landscape Restoration (PILaR). My tasks are below:
A) Stakeholder engagement and inclusive participation (stakeholder rights, participation, collaboration and Sensitization,
B) Creation of governance environment,
C) Adjustments in legislation(conflict resolutions) to enhance forest landscape restoration.
D) Monitoring and Evaluation of both IUCN and partners projects amongst others.
I am a self motivated, versatile and result oriented young lady very keen at developing a career in environmental governance, management and advocacy, with particular interests in grass roots environmental management and sustainable livelihood
