Global Forest Watch Tech Fellowship - Open for Applications

Global Forest Watch (GFW) and the World Resources Institute are pleased to announce the GFW Tech Fellowship. A new initiative, the GFW Tech Fellowship will directly support forest advocates around the world to use pioneering technology and big data to face the growing threats of deforestation.

What does the Fellowship involve?

The five month-long program offers Fellows opportunities for skill-building, networking, mentorship, and visibility, including participation in a three-day technology camp in Washington, D.C. Fellows will receive a stipend and access to funds for related activities.

Who can participate?

GFW is seeking forest advocates who are passionate about using technology for forest monitoring from a variety of sectors including law, science, journalism, law enforcement, advocacy and conservation. More information on the Fellowship qualifications can be found here.
