Global Landscapes Forum: Now streaming LIVE from MARRAKESH

On 16 November 2016, Global Landscapes Forum: Climate Action for Sustainable Development, the world’s foremost science-led platform, will bring together more than 500 leading experts, decision and policy makers, researchers, development practitioners and representatives from forestry, agriculture, civil society, finance, planning and other sectors to exchange expertise and best practice examples around integrated land use.

Closing Plenary and Special Announcement: Reaching one billion — Launch of the future Global Landscapes Forum

Don’t miss the closing plenary, from 17:45 to 18:45, when representatives from the Global Landscapes Forum’s founding and coordinating partners will share and discuss their visions and expectations for the future of the Forum over the next four years. At 17:45 GMT, German Environment Minister Barbara Hendricks, UNEP’s Executive Director Eric Solheim, World Bank Vice President Laura Tuck, and CIFOR’s DG Peter Holmgren will make a major announcement concerning the future of the Forum.
